X1 USA is a registered 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization with a mission to transform the 1v1 soccer landscape in the United States.

Inspired by a global movement that celebrates individuality, skill, and creativity, X1 USA creates a dynamic platform that empowers young athletes to express themselves on and off the field.

Through high-energy tournaments, official licensing, and grassroots initiatives, we are building a powerful culture around the 1v1 format—one that unites players, families, fans, and brands in purpose-driven, electrifying sports experiences.

We believe in creating opportunities, amplifying talent, and growing the game in innovative ways that inspire the next generation. Our goal is not only to entertain but also to empower communities and foster a lasting impact through the beautiful game.

Leading this movement is Luciano Emílio, a former Brazilian forward with a successful international soccer career and a recognized name in the sport, who serves as CEO of the X1 USA project. His extensive experience, which includes stints with clubs in Brazil, Germany, Mexico, Honduras, and the United States – where he became especially known for his performance in Major League Soccer (MLS) – provides him with a deep understanding of both the global and local soccer landscapes.

In 2007, while playing for D.C. United, Luciano Emílio was named MLS MVP, won the Golden Boot as the league's top scorer, and was also awarded MLS Newcomer of the Year and selected for the MLS Best XI. These achievements, along with titles suchs as the MLS Supporters’ Shield Champion (2007) and the US Open Cup Champion (2008) with D.C. United, and national championships in Honduras and Mexico, demonstrate his capacity for excellence and leadership on the field.

Now, as CEO, Luciano Emílio leads the expansion of X1 USA across the country, bringing his vision, experience, and credibility to position 1v1 soccer as a new force in the American sports scene. His transition from a top-tier athlete to an executive leader at X1 USA reflects a commitment to the development of the sport and the creation of new opportunities for emerging talents, perfectly aligning with the organization's mission to transform the 1v1 soccer landscape in the United States.
